Sahina Bellydance
Sahina is a Western Massachusetts based belly dancer and costume designer. She can be seen performing around Western Massachusetts at birthdays, weddings, and cultural events bringing the joy of dance to audiences of all ages. She also teaches bellydance classes in Amherst where she helps students to develop their own personal styles whether they are hobbyists looking for a fun way to stay active or aspiring professional dancers.
Her love of Middle Eastern music and dance has led her to cross train in Turkish, Egyptian, Fusion and Vintage Oriental styles in an effort to embrace the wonderful and unique elements of each culture. She is also a founding member of the Northampton Massachusetts based Middle Eastern band Manavi and plays zills and doumbek.
