Rhythmotion

Rhythmotion is a performing dance company and a temple of art. The confluence of dance and music form the soul of Rhythmotion. The dance productions of Rhythmotion are deeply rooted in Indian classical dance traditions and yet contemporary in their presentations which make them dynamic, refreshing, innovative and a visual treat. The journey of training artists in classical and contemporary dance techniques began in 2003 by Chitra Arvind, the Artistic Director. Chitra Arvind represents a vibrant new generation of dance makers. Her approach to choreography is ingenious, fresh and inspiring. She fuses Indian dance culture with highly individual sounds of the artists to produce works that are innovative and bang up-to-date.
